NBA Playoffs are Set

This years NBA playoffs are going to be one for the ages. A lot of exciting matchups. Especially with the play in games. Here's a look at the first set of matchups.

West

8 Warriors at 7 Lakers

Does Steph Curry have enough magic to propel the Warriors over King James and the Lakers?? The man just won the scoring title. Dropping 3's from everywhere on the court. He may have enough to get by in one of the play in games. But a 7 game series? I don't think so. As much as I want to see the Warriors pull off the upset. I still have to go with the Lakers in this one.

10 Spurs at 9 Grizzlies

Since I have to pick a winner here. I'm just going to go with Greg Popovich and the Spurs. I don't see either of these teams getting into the final spot of the playoffs no matter the outcome of this game.

East

8 Wizards at 7 Celtics

Russell Westbrook is a baller. His relentless attack on a way to averaging a triple double for the year is impressive. But Bradley Beal's hamstring isn't a 100%. Lets face it though. This team has come a long way during the season. I'm actually going to roll with them in this one.

The Celtics have nose dived lately. Jaylen Brown is out. Kemba Walker has been a disappointment. The Evan Fournier trade hasn't worked out. Issues after issues with this team. With a loss here. Head Coach Brad Stevens could be out of the job.

10 Hornets at 9 Pacers

I like this young Hornets team. LaMelo Ball is getting his groove back after coming back from his wrist injury. Gordon Hayward has been out a month and won't play in this game. Thats unfortunate. But I still think the Hornets are going to pull it out.

Pacers are going to need a monster game from Sabonis to have a chance.
